![]() You’re now sitting on your bed, on the verge of tears, unable to charge your phone, and it’s about to die. ![]() Then you start to jam the charger into your phone with force, thinking that brute strength should solve the problem. You try unplugging and replugging your phone into the charger with no luck. Your hands start to sweat, you’re tired but now jittery, and you don’t know what to do. You’ve uttered those horrible four words that instantly throw you into a panic. You think that this is a typical scenario and that your cell phone will get its much-needed recharge so that it can be ready for the next day to send out hundreds of texts, tweets, Facebook posts, Instagram browsing, Snaps, etc… You plug your iPhone into your charger and….nothing. Picture yourself at the end of a long workday, about to retire for the evening, and your cell phone’s battery is now below 10%. It should've started on a battery charging animation without actually starting the Android itself. You never want to hear yourself utter these dreaded four words: My iPhone Won’t Charge. I let the charger connected to the phone for a whole night but nothing, the phone would stay on 2% not even closing itself, as soon as the charger go unplugged the phone would say that is shutting in 30 seconds, but as soon as charger plugged in the phone would remain on 2% not charging, no symbol, no sound, no charging animation on the screen, I turned the phone off to check if it would start on the charging animation, well as soon as I put the charger in, around 2 seconds the phone started, but just started normally. ![]() So I didn't even try to charge it anymore(AccuBattery was saying that the battery life was at 3%) I went to a different repair shop and bought another battery, after the guy put the battery in for me, I paid and left, after getting home I tried to turn the phone on, the battery was on 40%, but after around 5 seconds, the battery was around 30%, after another 5 seconds the battery was at 20%, and it stayed like this for around 10 minutes, after that it was on 10%(straight numbers not even like 27%, straight up 30,20) I said that it should took some time for the battery to accommodate, then from 10% the battery skipped to 2% and a normal Huawei would shut off in 30 seconds from the time it hits 2%, so I let it shut down, I powered it back on to see how much left it had, it was on 30%, then it slowly went to 10 percent, I said that I should start charging it, but the phone wouldn't charge, It would show the symbol that the phone was charging(inside the battery from the notification bar) for around half a second, then disappear, there were no LED's indicating that the phone was charging, not a sound played, on AccuBattery it said that the phone didn't even charge, it wasn't even consuming the battery, it was plain 0mA, sometimes got up to 10mA but that's all 0%/h. Hello, In September of 2019 I got a Huawei P Smart 2019, but after around one year the battery started to fail, after a few days the phone started glitching out, battery would cut off at 90%, stop working anymore, this happened after the EMUI 10 update, so I don't know if that's the reason, but I said that I should get a new battery, I went to a local repair shop, paid around 37 dollars for the repair(in my currency) and then moved on with my life, but after around 6 months the battery was doing the same as the original one from the phone, I let it charge overnight, well the next morning the phone shut off at 95%, but I've noticed something weird, the battery was swollen.
